✅ AIIMS Bilaspur Senior Resident 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- General Requirements: A recognised medical qualification included in the applicable schedules of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Registration with the Central or State Medical Council. A relevant postgraduate qualification such as MD/MS/DNB or its equivalent in the concerned specialty. The required qualification pass certificate by the crucial date.
- Specialty-Specific Qualifications (examples):
- Cardiology, Medical Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology: MD/DNB in General Medicine
- Burns & Plastic Surgery: MS/DNB in General Surgery
- CTVS, Neurosurgery, Paediatric Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology, Urology: MS/DNB in General Surgery
- Neonatology: MD/DNB in Paediatrics
- Trauma & Emergency: MD/DNB in Medicine, MS in General Surgery or allied subject, or Orthopedics
- Pulmonary Medicine: MD/DNB in General Medicine or Pulmonary Medicine
- For Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Clinical Immunology and Endocrinology, certain non-medical candidates with relevant M.Sc./M.Biotech qualifications and a Ph.D. in the concerned or allied subject may be permitted, subject to department-specific conditions.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 45 years for all candidates. Age is calculated as on the last date specified for submission of the application. Permissible relaxation under Government of India rules may be available with supporting documents. Reserved-category candidates applying for unreserved vacancies will not receive age relaxation for that application.
✅ AIIMS Bilaspur Senior Resident 2026 Pay Scale & Tenure:
- Medical candidates (MD/MS/DNB): Level 11, minimum ₹67,700 per month, plus NPA and admissible allowances.
- Non-medical candidates (M.Sc. with Ph.D.): Level 10, minimum ₹56,100 per month, plus admissible allowances; no NPA.
- Tenure: The appointment is for up to three years, provided the candidate’s total previous Senior Residency period at AIIMS Bilaspur or another institute does not exceed three years. Candidates must disclose their previous Senior Residency experience in the application form.
Allowances are subject to applicable Government of India rules for employees stationed at AIIMS Bilaspur. Private practice is strictly prohibited.
