✅ NIOT Chennai Apprentice 2026 Stipend
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: ₹12,000/- per month (₹4,000/- paid by Government under DBT Scheme)
- Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: ₹13,000/- per month (₹4,500/- paid by Government under DBT Scheme)
Training duration is one year. Selected candidates will be posted at NIOT Headquarters, Chennai or its field units in Andhra Pradesh.
✅ NIOT Chennai Apprentice 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on date of interview):
- Technician (Diploma): 18 – 24 years
- Graduate (Degree): 21 – 26 years
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD (15 years for SC/ST PwBD, 13 years for OBC PwBD)
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma Apprentices: Full-time Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline from AICTE/DOTE approved institutions (passed within last 5 years).
- Graduate Apprentices: Full-time B.E/B.Tech / B.Sc / B.Com in relevant discipline from UGC/AICTE approved institutions (passed within last 5 years).
Candidates must have registered on the NATS Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/). Post-graduates and candidates with more than 1 year job experience are NOT eligible.
