Educational Qualifications:
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) ->
(1) Post Graduate in respective subject with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution. (OR) Post Graduate with at least 50% marks from recognized University in respective subject and B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution

Assistant Teacher (High School) / Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
(1) Graduate (Bachelor's Degree) in respective subject with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution. (OR) 4-years degree of B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

Assistant Teacher, Primary / Upper Primary Schools (Elementary Education) ->
(1) Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). (OR) Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002. (OR) Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). (OR) Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education). (OR) Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). (OR) Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.).
(2) The candidate should have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the Central Government OR any State Govt, in India in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
(3) The Candidate should have studied in the concerned medium at Secondary level.
