If suitable candidates are not available for a particular position in a game/event, that post will not be filled with candidates from another position/game/event. The vacancy is not exclusively reserved for any particular community such as SC, ST or OBC.
✅ Southern Railway Sports Quota Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01 January 2027. Candidates should have been born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2009 (both dates inclusive).
- Age Relaxation: No upper or lower age relaxation is permissible.
- Date of birth entered in the application must match the SSC/SSLC/Matriculation/10th certificate.

- Candidates awaiting final examination or final results are not eligible.
- There is no relaxation in the minimum educational qualification.
- Candidates must also possess the prescribed sports achievements for the particular Pay Level, sports discipline and event/position.
- Recognised sports achievements should be from the current and/or immediately preceding two calendar years, and the sportsperson should be an active player. The qualifying period begins from 01 April 2024.
