- Catering Officer – 01 Post (UR) – Scale Rs. 50000-160000 (approx. total emoluments ₹94,500/- p.m. + HRA)
- Senior Welfare Officer – 02 Posts (UR) – Scale Rs. 50000-160000 (approx. total emoluments ₹94,500/- p.m. + HRA)
- Deputy Manager (Welfare) – 02 Posts (UR) – Scale Rs. 60000-180000 (approx. total emoluments ₹1,13,000/- p.m. + HRA)

✅ Mumbai Port Authority Class I Age Limit:
- Catering Officer: Above 18 years – Below 30 years as on 01 October 2026 (not born earlier than 02/10/1996 and later than 01/10/2008).
- Senior Welfare Officer and Deputy Director: Above 21 years – Below 35 years as on 01 October 2026.
- Deputy Manager (Welfare): Above 21 years – Below 40 years as on 01 October 2026.
- Age relaxation: 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (for identified posts); up to 55 years for existing employees of any Major Port Authority; Ex-servicemen as per rules. No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as all posts are UR.
✅ Mumbai Port Authority Class I Eligibility Criteria:
- Catering Officer: Degree from a recognised University + Diploma in Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition from the Institute of Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai or equivalent + 3 years’ experience in the line. Desirable: Experience in Social Welfare work.
- Senior Welfare Officer: Degree from a recognised University/Institution + Degree or diploma in Social Science from a recognised University/Institution + 5 years’ experience as a Labour Welfare Officer/Industrial Relations Officer in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking + Knowledge of Marathi.
- Deputy Manager (Welfare): Degree from a recognised University + Degree or diploma in Social Science from a recognised University/Institution + 9 years’ experience as a Labour Welfare Officer/Industrial Relations Officer in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking + Knowledge of Marathi.
- Deputy Director: Degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics from a recognized university/institution + Five years executive experience in planning or in collection, compilation and interpretation of data or in conducting field surveys, investigations etc. Desirable: Post Graduate degree/diploma in relevant subjects and knowledge of computer operations.
- For Welfare posts, Social Science includes specific diplomas/degrees listed in the notification (e.g., Diploma in Labour Welfare, Master of Social Work, etc.).

- Competitive written examination and/or personal interview.
- Medical examination at MbPA hospital for fitness.
- The administration reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates called for written test/interview based on response.

- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications with separate fee for each post.
- Application fee of Rs. 500/- for UR category candidates (PwBD exempted). Payable by Postal Order/Demand Draft in favour of ‘The Board of Mumbai Port Authority’ payable at Mumbai, or by online transfer to Account No. 6394945632, Indian Bank, PM Road Fort Branch, IFSC IDIB000B027. Attach receipt of payment.
