✅ EIL Engineer & Officer 2026 Remuneration & Benefits:
- Associate Engineer Grade II / Associate Officer Grade II: ₹80,000 (X Category) / ₹76,000 (Y) / ₹72,000 (Z Category Cities) per month (including HRA & PF).
- Associate Engineer Grade III: ₹96,000 / ₹91,200 / ₹86,400 per month.
- Associate Engineer Grade IV: ₹1,12,000 / ₹1,06,400 / ₹1,00,800 per month.
Other benefits include reimbursement of Medical Insurance Premium (up to ₹2,00,000/- per annum for self), GPAI coverage, Paid leave of 2 days per completed month, Travelling Allowances, and during foreign posting: Living Allowance, R&R and other allowances as per Company rules. The hiring is purely on fixed term basis initially for 2 years (extendable for 1 year, maximum 3 years). No claim for regular appointment will be entertained.
✅ EIL Engineer & Officer 2026 Eligibility Criteria (as on 30.09.2026):
- Associate Engineer Grade II / III / IV: BE/B.Tech / B.Sc. (Engg.) in Civil / Mechanical / Welding / NDT / Electrical / Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks. Minimum post-qualification relevant experience of 5 / 9 / 13 years respectively in Construction related activities of Refinery / Petrochemical / Fertilizer Plants / Power Plant / Nuclear Plants Projects.
- For Welding/NDT: Minimum educational qualification of B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks and with ASNT or ISNT Level-II certificate in RT/UT/DPT/MPT.
- Associate Officer Gr. II: Graduate in Arts/Commerce/Science with diploma in Material Management (14 yrs exp) OR Diploma in Engg. with Diploma in Material Management (13 yrs exp) OR Degree in any branch of Engg. with Dip. in Material Management (5 yrs exp). Relevant experience in Construction related activities of Refinery / Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Power / Nuclear Plants Projects.
The specified qualification should have been acquired within the prescribed minimum course duration. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwD, and as applicable for Ex-Servicemen.
✅ EIL Engineer & Officer 2026 Selection Process:
- Online registration of application.
- Walk-in Interview (Personal Interview) at EIL offices in Gurugram, Mumbai, Chennai & Kolkata. Exact date, time and venue will be intimated to candidates via registered email. Candidates shall report at 08:00 AM.
- On the day of interview, applications and certificates will be screened for eligibility. Only eligible candidates will be considered for further process.
- Selected candidates must be medically fit to join. The requirement is urgent; selected candidates shall be required to join at the earliest.
Place of posting shall be at different foreign Construction sites of EIL (Nigeria & Ethiopia). However, posting can be anywhere in India and abroad depending upon organizational requirement. Candidates shall make their own arrangements for travel and stay. No allowances will be paid for attending the interview.

Eligible candidates need to apply through the online registration system on the EIL website.
➢ Step 1: Visit the career link on EIL website or the Apply Online link and carefully read all instructions.
➢ Step 2: Fill in the online form with all relevant correct details between 19 October 2026 (1400 hrs) and 02 November 2026 (1400 hrs). Round off percentage of marks to the lower whole number.
