✅ IISER Kolkata Librarian Age Limit:
- Librarian: Maximum 56 years.
- Deputy Librarian: Maximum 50 years.
- Age will be reckoned as on 31.10.2026. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules.
✅ IISER Kolkata Librarian Eligibility Criteria:
- Librarian: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. Ph.D. in library science / information science / documentation / archives and manuscript-keeping. Evidence of innovative library services, including integration of ICT in a library. At least 10 years as Deputy Librarian (Pay Level-12, including a minimum 3 years in Pay Level-13A) in the library of any Technical University, Educational Institute of National Importance, or any other large Technical Library.
- Deputy Librarian: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. Ph.D. in library science / information science / documentation / archives and manuscript-keeping. Evidence of innovative library services, including integration of ICT in a library. At least 8 years as Assistant Librarian (Pay Level-10, including at least 2 years in Pay Level-11) in the library of any Higher Education Institute/University, Educational Institute of National Importance, or any other large Scientific or Technical Institute Library.
