✅ Assam Rifles Rally 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Male Indian citizens only.
- Domicile: Valid Domicile / Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) of the State / UT is compulsory. The State entered in the form cannot be changed later.
- Age (as on 01.07.2026): 18–25 years for Warrant Officer trades; 18–23 years for Havildar (Instrument Mechanic) and all Rifleman trades.
- DOB / Name: Only particulars printed on the Matriculation certificate will be accepted.
Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years | OBC – 3 years | ESM (UR) – 3 years after deducting service | ESM (OBC) – 6 years | ESM (SC/ST) – 8 years | Departmental candidates – upper age up to 40 years.
Qualification snapshot:
- WO Cipher: 12th with PCM + English and 2-year ITI in IT / Electronics / CS related trades (NSQF Level 4+), or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / ICT.
- WO Draughtsman: 12th + 3-year Diploma in Architectural Assistantship.
- WO OT Technician / Physiotherapist: 12th + 2-year relevant diploma + 1 year experience in a recognised 50-bed hospital / centre.
- Havildar Instrument Mechanic: 10th + 2-year ITI / 2–3 year Diploma in Instrument / Electronic Mechanic or Technology.
- Most Rifleman technical trades: 10th + 2-year ITI or 2–3 year Diploma in the concerned electrical, electronics, automobile, welding or mechanical stream.
- RM Recovery Vehicle Mechanic: 10th with relevant ITI and/or valid HMV / Transport driving licence.
- RM Store Keeper Technical (EME): 10th pass.
- RM Mason: 10th pass + qualifying trade test + self-certified 1 year work experience.
✅ Assam Rifles Salary 2026:
Pay and allowances will be as applicable to Assam Rifles personnel. Exact levels are not printed in the short notice. In earlier technical / tradesman rallies, the following 7th CPC levels were used:

✅ Assam Rifles Rally 2026 Selection Process:
- RFID-based Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

- Computer Based Test (CBT) – 100 marks
- Trade Skill Test (computer + practical; qualifying only, no marks)

PET is qualifying and will be held at Jorhat or Diphu (Assam). After PST/PET and documentation, candidates appear for CBT. Trade Test call is based on CBT merit. DV and medical shortlisting is about four times the vacancies in each trade / category (1:4). Medical exam follows CAPF / Assam Rifles uniform guidelines.

✅ How to Apply for Assam Rifles Rally 2026:
Applications will be accepted online only from 28 September 2026 to 28 October 2026 (23:59 Hrs). After final submit, no correction by post, fax, email or in person will be allowed.
➢ Step 1: Open www.assamrifles.gov.in and click ONLINE APPLICATION.
➢ Step 2: Register with an active email ID and mobile number (DND should be off, as rally alerts go by SMS / email).
➢ Step 3: Choose trade and category only after matching qualification, age and vacancy.
➢ Step 4: Enter name, DOB and other particulars exactly as on the Matriculation certificate. Select State / domicile carefully.
➢ Step 5: Upload certificates in the prescribed format.
➢ Step 6: Pay ₹100 (UR / OBC / EWS) online or through SBI challan. SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen pay no fee. Deposit is in HQ DGAR SBI Current A/c 37088046712, SBI Laitkor, IFSC SBIN0013883. Upload the receipt and carry the original to PST/PET. Fee is non-refundable.
➢ Step 7: Recheck every field, submit the form and print a copy for the rally.
Carry to rally: 10th certificate, higher qualification / ITI / diploma / degree, PRC / domicile, caste or EWS certificate (EWS for FY 2025-26 based on FY 2024-25 income), height-relaxation certificate if applicable, HMV licence (RVM trade), experience proof (OT / Physiotherapist / Mason), fee receipt, printed application, notification copy, and CO’s NOC for departmental candidates.
