✅ SBI AI Specialist Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria (as on 30.09.2026):
- GM & Chief AI Officer / DGM Posts: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electronics / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication or equivalent / M.Sc. (Statistics/Computer Science) / MA (Statistics) / M.Stat / MCA from a recognized University/Institution. Preferred: MBA/PGDM in Finance and certifications in ML/AI/NLP etc.
- Experience (GM & Chief AI Officer): Minimum 15+ years in Banking/BFSI/IT sector, of which at least 3+ years Senior leadership experience in AI, Analytics, model oversight, governance and business transformation (including leading a sizeable team).
- Experience (DGM Posts): Minimum 10+ years in Banking/BFSI/IT sector, of which at least 2+ years in senior leadership role in the respective domain (Risk & Operational Analytics / AI Governance & Compliance / Data Engineering, Model Application Dev & AI Ops).
- AI Solution Architect: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, AI, Business Administration, Management or related discipline. Minimum 8 years overall experience, including at least 3 years in AI/analytics solutioning, digital transformation, technology consulting or solution architecture (preferably in BFSI).
- Enterprise AI Architect: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, AI or equivalent. Minimum 8 years overall technology experience, including at least 3 years in enterprise, platform, data or AI architecture with experience in large-scale AI/ML environments (preferably in BFSI or regulated industry).

- GM & Chief AI Officer: Upper range ₹160.00 Lakhs per annum

✅ SBI AI Specialist Recruitment 2026 Selection Process:
- Shortlisting based on eligibility criteria (mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right to be called for interview).
- Interview (100 marks). For GM & Chief AI Officer and DGM posts, shortlisted candidates will be required to deliver a 10-minute presentation on their relevant job profile/projects undertaken/milestones achieved.
- CTC Negotiation with shortlisted candidates.
- Merit list prepared in descending order based on scores obtained in interview only.
Call letter for interview will be uploaded on the Bank’s website or sent by email. No hard copy will be sent. Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed travelling expenses as per the limits specified in the notification.
