Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Goa, an Institute of National Importance established in 2016 under an Act of Parliament, invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of 5 Non-Teaching Staff posts (Deputy Registrar, Technical Officer, Superintendent, and Library Superintendent) on a regular basis. IIT Goa Non-Teaching Staff Pay Levels:

✔️ Deputy Registrar: Level 12 (7th CPC), with applicable allowances (NPS, DA, Medical, HRA, LTC, Children’s Education Allowance).
✔️ Technical Officer: Level 10 (6th CPC equivalent), with applicable allowances.
✔️ Superintendent, Library Superintendent: Level 6, with applicable allowances as per Government of India norms.

IIT Goa Non-Teaching Staff Eligibility Criteria:

✔️ Age Limit (as on 04/07/2025):

Maximum age: 50 years (Deputy Registrar), 42 years (Technical Officer), 34 years (Superintendent, Library Superintendent). Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen as per Govt. norms, with a maximum age limit of 56 years for PwBD candidates.

✔️ Educational Qualifications & Experience:

(1) Deputy Registrar: Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with 55% marks and 5 years’ experience as Assistant Registrar or in Level 10 or above in areas like Legal, Finance, Establishment, etc.
(2) Technical Officer: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Chemical/Materials Engineering with 60% marks and 6 years’ experience in Level 6 or 3 years in Level 7; M.Tech/Ph.D. duration counted towards experience (max 2/3 years).
(3) Superintendent: Bachelor’s Degree with 55% marks and 5 years’ clerical/supervisory experience; Master’s duration counted (max 2 years).
(4) Library Superintendent: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Library Science or related field with 60% marks and 5 years (Bachelor’s) or 4 years (Master’s) experience in library automation, networking, etc.

IIT Goa Non-Teaching Staff Selection Process:
