✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
Open Merit: 40 years (born between 01.01.1985 and 01.01.2007).
SC/ST-1/ST-2/RBA/ALC/IB/EWS/OBC: 43 years (born between 01.01.1982 and 01.01.2007).
Physically Challenged Person: 42 years (born between 01.01.1983 and 01.01.2007).
Ex-Servicemen: 48 years (born between 01.01.1977 and 01.01.2007).
✔️ Educational Qualifications:
(1) Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) in any discipline from a recognized university.
(2) Working knowledge of Urdu.
✔️ Domicile:
Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or before 15.07.2025.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Paper-I: Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions, 120 marks, 2 hours, negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer). Minimum marks: 20% (OM), 15% (other categories).
✔️ Paper-II: Descriptive Urdu Test (50 marks, 1 hour, qualifying nature). Minimum marks: 40% overall (OM) with 33% in each section; 35% overall (other categories) with 33% in each section.
✔️ Document Verification for shortlisted candidates.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 600/- for General (Open Merit) candidates.
✔️ ₹ 500/- for SC/ST-1/ST-2/EWS/PwBD candidates.
✔️ Payment through online mode (Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards) via the JKSSB portal.
