Assam Rifles Pay Scale:
As per the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix, with applicable allowances as per Assam Rifles rules.
Assam Rifles Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025):
18-25 years. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
✔️ Eligibility:
Applicable only for dependent family members (spouse, son, daughter, adopted son/daughter, or sibling) of Assam Rifles personnel who were killed in action, died in service, discharged on medical grounds, or missing while in service.
✔️ Educational Qualifications:
(1) Rifleman (General Duty): 10th pass from a recognized board.
(2) Havildar (Clerk): 12th pass with typing proficiency (35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi).
(3) Warrant Officer (Personal Assistant): 12th pass with stenography skills (80 wpm shorthand, 40 wpm typing).
(4) Rifleman/Naib Subedar (Other Trades): 10th/12th pass with relevant ITI certificate or trade proficiency as per post requirements.

✔️ Physical Standards:
Male: Height 170 cm (relaxable for certain categories), Chest 80-85 cm. Female: Height 157 cm (relaxable for certain categories). Weight proportionate to height and age.
✔️ Other Conditions:
(1) Indian citizenship.
(2) Candidates must be medically fit as per Assam Rifles standards.
(3) No claim for compensation for injuries during recruitment tests.
Assam Rifles Selection Process:
✔️ Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST): Running, long jump, high jump, and physical measurements.
✔️ Computer-Based Trade (Skill) Test: Pass/Fail basis for technical/trade posts.
✔️ Written Test: Objective-type questions on general knowledge, aptitude, and trade-specific knowledge.
✔️ Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Candidates must meet medical fitness standards.
✔️ Document Verification: Original certificates required for eligibility confirmation.
