Scale of Pay: On the basis of the performance during the training, the successful trainees are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Scientific Assistant/B in the Pay Band Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4200/- plus other allowances as applicable.
Educational Qualifications:
(a) B.Sc. (60% Marks) should be with Physics as principal subject and Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary (OR) Chemistry as principal subject and Physics/Mathematics/ Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary (OR) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage.
(b) Mathematics at HSC (10+2) level is essential. Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examination.
Physical Standards:
Minimum Height -> 160 cm (5'3")
Minimum Weight -> 45.5 Kgs. (100 lbs.)
Selection Process: Written Examination, Objective Type will be conducted and the successful candidates will be called for Interview and Medical Examination.
