✅ RRB Technician Eligibility Criteria 2024:
Age Limit (As on 01/07/2024): The Railway Technician Posts Age Limit are
✔️ 18 - 36 years for Technician Grade I Signal.
✔️ 18 - 33 years for Technician Grade III.
✔️ Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC / ST, Plus 10 years for PwBD, for others as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualifications:
For Technician Grade III:
(1) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in relevant trade. (OR)
(2) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in relevant trade.
For Technician Grade I Signal:
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / IT / Instrumentation (OR) B.Sc. in a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation. (OR) 03 years Diploma in Engineering (OR) Engineering Degree.

✅ RRB Technician Exam 2024 Details:
✔️ There will be a computer-based test (CBT) with a total duration of 90 minutes and 100 questions.
✔️ There will be negative marking for wrong answers, with a deduction of one-third of a mark for each wrong answer.
✔️ The marks will be normalized for tests held in multiple shifts.
✔️ The minimum pass percentage for eligibility is:
- UR & EWS: 40%
- OBC (NCL): 30%
- SC: 30%
- ST: 25%
✔️ These percentages may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates in case of shortage.
✔️ The marks scored in the CBT will be used to shortlist candidates for further stages of the recruitment process.
✅ How to Apply RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 Online Application Form:
- Eligible candidates who willing to apply for Railway Technician 2024 should apply online through any one of Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) or RRB Technician Online Portal (www.rrbapply.gov.in) from 9th March 2024, and only one online application has to be submitted.
- The Candidates must first 'Create an Account' for RRB Technician 2024 through the link given on the Official RRB Website.
- The Candidates must have an active personal mobile number and a valid email ID for receiving OTPs for Account Verification and Creation. After creating an account, candidates should log in to apply for RRB Technicians 2024 through any one of the RRB portals.
- The Candidates should upload scanned copy of Colour Passport Photograph, Signature and other required documents / certificates.
