TNPSC Typist Recruitment 2024-25 - Special Competitive Examination for Temporary Typists in Employment and Training: Online applications are invited for the Special Competitive Examination for the post of Typist in the Employment and Training Department, Tamil Nadu. This is exclusively for Temporary Typists appointed under the Unemployment Assistance Scheme (G.O.(Ms).No.72, dated 25.08.2006) who are still in service. The closing date for registration of online applications 24th December 2024. This recruitment is exclusively for in-service Temporary Typists and is not open to freshers or general candidates.

✅ Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 years as on 1st July 2024.
The Age relaxation as per TN Government rules.
✅ Pay Scale:
The TNPSC Typist Pay scale Level –8 (CPS), Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service pay scale.
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
(1) Minimum General Educational Qualification.
(2) Passed Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:
- Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil & English, or
- Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil & Lower/Junior Grade in English, or
- Higher/Senior Grade in English & Lower/Junior Grade in Tamil.
(3) Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation by Tamil Nadu Technical Education Department.
(4) Knowledge in Tamil – The language Tamil as one of the language subject in SSLC Examination or its equivalent exam.
✅ Selection Process:
The TNPSC Typist selection process is conducted through a Single Paper Examination in a Computer-Based Test format, based on an SSLC standard syllabus. The examination consists of three sections: Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test, General Studies, and Aptitude and Mental Ability Test. The test carries a total of 300 marks with 200 questions and has a duration of 3 hours.

✔️ ₹ 700/- for General / OBC Category Candidates.
✔️ No fee for SC / ST / PwBD Category Candidates.
✔️ The fee should be made through Online Payment Mode (Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI / Wallets / Net Banking etc.)
✅ How to Apply TNPSC Typist Recruitment 2024:
➢ Eligible candidates should apply online through the TNPSC Exams Portal (tnpscexams.in).The Candidates must first complete the "One Time Registration," which is valid for five years from the date of registration.
➢ The candidates must fill all required details and upload scanned copy of recent Photograph, Signature etc.
➢ The last date for registration of online applications is 24/12/2024 up to 11:59 PM.
