✅ Mumbai Port Authority 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) – 05 posts: Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institution. Desirable: Two years experience in executive cadre in Planning/Construction/Design/Maintenance preferably of Port and Marine Structures.
- Executive Engineer (Civil) – 13 posts: Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering + Five years experience in executive cadre in Planning/Construction/Design/Maintenance preferably of Port and Marine structures in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking.
- Dy. Materials Manager – 01 post: Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering + Five years experience in Executive Cadre in Materials Management/Mechanical Engg./Electrical Engineering. Desirable: PG Degree/Diploma in Materials Management.
- Executive Engineer (Telecom/Electronics) – 01 post: Degree in Electronics/Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering + Five years executive experience in Networking/software development/telecom. Desirable: PG Degree/Diploma in the relevant field.
- Accounts Officer Gr. I – 01 post: Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. Desirable: Two years’ experience in Executive cadre in Finance/Accounting.
- Assistant Traffic Manager Gr. I – 01 post: A degree from a recognised university. Desirable: Two years executive experience in shipping/cargo operations/railway transportation.
- Assistant Estate Manager Gr. I – 02 posts: Degree with PG degree/diploma in Architecture/Town and Country Planning or degree in Civil Engineering or Corporate membership of Institution of Surveyor (India). Desirable: Degree in Law and two years executive experience in Estate Management, Valuation or Land Records.
- Assistant Security Officer (Class II) – 01 post: A degree from a recognised University/Institution and ability to speak, read & write Marathi, Hindi and English. Desirable: NCC ‘B’/‘C’ certificate and/or experience with Police, SSC Officer, CISF, RPF or BSF. Minimum Physical Requirements: Height 165 cms, Chest 81 cms (expiration) / 86 cms (inspiration) with minimum 5 cms difference, Weight 50 kg.
Age Limit (as on 01.09.2026):
- Accounts Officer Gr. I, Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil), Assistant Traffic Manager Gr. I, Assistant Estate Manager Gr. I, Assistant Security Officer: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 30 years (born not earlier than 02.09.1996 and not later than 01.09.2008 – both dates inclusive).
- Executive Engineer (Civil), Dy. Materials Manager, Executive Engineer (Telecom/Electronics): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 35 years (born not earlier than 02.09.1991 and not later than 01.09.2008 – both dates inclusive).
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC NCL – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years.
✅ Mumbai Port Authority 2026 Emoluments & Benefits:
- Class I posts (Accounts Officer Gr. I, AEE Civil, ATM Gr. I, AEM Gr. I, EE Civil, Dy. Materials Manager, EE Telecom/Electronics): Basic Pay ₹50,000 in the scale of ₹50,000–1,60,000 + other admissible allowances. Total emoluments approximately ₹94,500 per month, plus HRA as admissible (if not residing in Mumbai Port Authority quarters).
- Assistant Security Officer (Class II): Basic Pay ₹40,000 in the scale of ₹40,000–1,40,000 + other admissible allowances. Total emoluments approximately ₹75,600 per month, plus HRA as admissible.
✅ Mumbai Port Authority 2026 Selection Process:
- Class I posts: Online Examination + Interview + Document Verification
- Class II post (Assistant Security Officer): Document Verification followed by Physical Requirement Test and Test of Proficiency in essential languages (Marathi, Hindi and English). There is no Interview.
Online Examination Pattern (most Class I posts): Objective type – Technical (60 Q, 120 marks, 50 min), Reasoning/GA/IT (30 Q, 30 marks, 25 min), Quantitative Aptitude (25 Q, 25 marks, 25 min), English (25 Q, 25 marks, 20 min). Total 140 questions, 200 marks, 120 minutes. Negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. Only English.
For Assistant Traffic Manager Gr. I and Assistant Security Officer: Reasoning (50 Q, 50 marks, 35 min), GA & IT (50 Q, 50 marks, 25 min), Quantitative Aptitude (50 Q, 50 marks, 35 min), English (50 Q, 50 marks, 25 min). Total 200 questions, 200 marks, 120 minutes. Negative marking of 1/4 applicable. Only English.
Mumbai Port Authority reserves the right to modify the structure of the online examination. Examination centres will be at Mumbai / Greater Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Thane / Palghar (depending on the number of candidates). Date will be intimated shortly.
