Starting basic pay in E2 grade is ₹50,000 in the scale ₹50,000–1,60,000, plus DA (IDA), HRA or township accommodation, cafeteria perks, Performance Related Pay and other company benefits. A service bond of three years applies (₹3,00,000 for General; ₹50,000 for EWS / OBC-NCL / SC / ST / PwBD).

Only GATE 2026 marks will be considered. Minimum aggregate in the essential degree: 60% for UR / EWS / OBC-NCL posts and 50% for SC / ST / PwBD reserved posts. Percentage shall not be rounded off (59.99% is not 60%). Age is reckoned as on 19 September 2026. Age relaxation for OBC-NCL / SC / ST applies only against posts reserved for that category. Five-year integrated B.E./B.Tech + M.E./M.Tech dual degrees in the relevant discipline are accepted. Working knowledge of Hindi is desirable. Candidates may have to work in shifts, including night shifts.
✅ MRPL Assistant Engineer GATE 2026 Selection Process:
Shortlisting for GD and PI will be on GATE 2026 marks out of 100, in the ratio of 1:5. Previous GATE scores will not be considered. If GATE marks are equal, higher marks in the essential engineering degree will decide the order. Final merit will be prepared as per MRPL rules. Management may add, modify or delete any test.
