The engagement is purely contractual for 11 months, extendable based on performance and Port requirement.
✅ DPA Medical Staff Eligibility Criteria:
- Sr. Physiotherapist: Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized University + 5 years post-qualification experience.
- Physiotherapist: Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized University + 3 years experience.
- Optometrist: Certification / Diploma / Degree in Optometry + 1 year experience.
- OT Assistant: GNM or B.Sc. (Nursing) and Certification in OT Assistant + 1 year experience.
- Nurse: B.Sc. (Nursing) or GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) + 1 year experience.
- ECG Technician: Certification / Diploma / Degree in ECG or Cardiac Care Technology + 1 year experience.
- Female / Male Ward Orderly: SSC or above + 1 year experience.
- Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per rules.
✅ DPA Medical Staff Salary 2026:
Monthly consolidated remuneration ranges from ₹31,000 to ₹50,000 as per the post. Candidates shall not be entitled to any other allowances.
Other facilities:
- Weekly off, closed holidays, national holidays and Casual Leave up to 12 days per year
- In-house medical treatment at Port Hospital for self; OPD for family only if residing at the place of duty
- Residential quarters in Port colony subject to availability and payment of licence fee
- TA/DA on official tour as per equivalent regular employee level (no TA/DA for interview or joining)
