✅ IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit (as on 31.08.2026):
- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 24 years.
- Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC (NCL) – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC-NCL).
Educational Qualification:
- Trade Apprentice (ITI – Codes 107 to 111): Matric + Regular full-time 2-year ITI in relevant trade (Fitter / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist) recognized by NCVT/SCVT (Pass marks).
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma – Codes 101 to 106): 3 years regular full-time Diploma in relevant Engineering branch (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Civil / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) from AICTE/UGC recognized Institute.
- Graduate Apprentice (Code 112): Regular full-time Graduate in any discipline (BBA/BA/B.Com/B.Sc. etc.) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) from AICTE/UGC recognized Institute.
- Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Code 113): Class 12th (but below Graduate).
- Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate Holders (Code 114): Class 12th (but below Graduate) + Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ issued by recognized awarding body under NSQF.
✅ IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process:
- No Written Test or Interview
- Candidates must be registered on NAPS/NATS portal
- Merit list will be prepared based on percentage of marks secured in the prescribed qualification
- In case of tie: Older candidate (earlier date of birth) will be preferred; if still same, higher % in Matriculation will be considered
- Preference will be given to candidates applying for Apprenticeship training for the first time
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and Pre-engagement Medical Fitness Test
