No separate post-qualification experience is prescribed.
Apprenticeship preference in merit: B.E./B.Tech with ammunition / explosives apprenticeship; then Diploma with such apprenticeship; then B.Sc. Chemistry with such apprenticeship; then B.E./B.Tech or Diploma with other apprenticeship. Candidates without ammunition / explosives apprenticeship will be deployed only after safety and technical scrutiny training.
