✅ Age Limit:
Maximum 28 years as on 23/04/2025. The Upper Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years for PwD (General), 15 years for PwD (SC/ST), 13 years for PwD (OBC-NCL), 5 years for candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir (1980-1989), and as per norms for Ex-Servicemen.

M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.Sc.Tech. in Geology/ Applied Geology or equivalent with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/Institute (AICTE/UGC approved). Candidates must have cleared the Written Round of the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2023 but were not recommended for final selection and have consented to sharing marks on UPSC’s website.
✔️ Executive Trainee (Geophysics):
M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.Sc.Tech. in Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics or equivalent with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/Institute (AICTE/UGC approved). Candidates must have cleared the Written Round of the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2023 but were not recommended for final selection and have consented to sharing marks on UPSC’s website.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Shortlisting based on UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2023 Written Examination score, category-wise.
✔️ Document verification for shortlisted candidates. No separate written exam or interview will be conducted.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 500/- for General/ EWS/ OBC candidates.
✔️ No fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-Servicemen/Departmental candidates.
✔️ Payment through online mode (Net-Banking) to MECL’s State Bank of India account (A/c No.: 34991261440, IFSC: SBIN0000432, Nagpur Main Branch).

➢ Register on the portal with a valid email ID and mobile number, then log in to fill personal, educational, and UPSC CGSE 2023 score details.
➢ Upload scanned copies of a recent passport-size photograph (JPG/JPEG, 50 KB), signature (JPG/JPEG, 20 KB), and required documents (PDF, 300 KB each): SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/Ex-SM certificates, UPSC CGSE 2023 scorecard, ID proof (Aadhaar mandatory), and proof of fee payment (if applicable).
