✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit:
Maximum age limit is 27 years as on 30/04/2025 for UR candidates. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwD (40% or above disability), 5 years for J&K domiciles (1980–1989), and service period + 3 years for Ex-Servicemen. Up to 40 years for ECIL contract/fixed-term employees (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC).
✔️ Educational Qualifications:
(i) Matriculation/SSC or equivalent.
(ii) ITI Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade (Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Turner, Sheet Metal, Welder, Carpenter, Painter) with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) OR ITI Certificate (NTC) with one-year relevant experience in manufacturing processes as on 30/04/2025.
(iii) ITI should include NTC, Board-Based Basic Training, or advanced modules under Multi-Skilled Training Pattern of DGL&E through ITIs upgraded as Centres of Excellence.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Computer Based Test (CBT): 120-minute, 100 multiple-choice questions (1 mark each, 0.25 negative for wrong answers) in English, Hindi, Telugu. Syllabus based on core ITI trade. Conducted in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata. Minimum 50% marks required. Extra 20 minutes/hour for PwD candidates.
✔️ Trade Test: Conducted in Hyderabad for candidates shortlisted (1:4 ratio) based on CBT performance. Minimum 50% marks required. Weightage: CBT (85%), Trade Test (15%). Overall 60% required for selection. SC/ST/OBC candidates may receive relaxed standards.
✔️ Document Verification: Before Trade Test, candidates must submit originals and self-attested copies of application form, hall ticket, 10th certificate, ITI/NAC/experience certificates, category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD/Ex-Serviceman), J&K certificate (if applicable), and fee receipt.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 750/- for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates (plus bank charges/taxes).
✔️ Exempted for SC/ ST/ PwD, Ex-Servicemen, ECIL regular/fixed-term employees.
