✔️ Minimum 21years and Maximum 25 years as on 01 Jul 2024.
✔️ Born between 01 July 1999 & 30 June 2003 (Both dates inclusive).

✅ ICG Assistant Commandant Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ General Duty (GD):
(1) Bachelors' Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
(2) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after
diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.
✔️ Technical (Mechanical):
(1) Engineering degree in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace with minimum 60% aggregate marks. (OR) Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the
Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination.
(2) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after
diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.
✔️ Technical (Electrical/ Electronics):
(1) Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics with minimum 60% aggregate marks. (OR) Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and
‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE).
(2) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.
✅ ICG Assistant Commandant 2024 Selection Process:
The selection of ICG Assistant Commandants is based on an all India order of merit which is based on the performance of candidates in various stages:-
✔️ Stage I: Computer Based Online Screening Test (CGCAT).
✔️ Stage II: Preliminary Selection Board (PSB) – Candidate’s Verification, Documents Verification and Allotment of Centres.
✔️ Stage III: Final Selection Board (FSB).
✔️ Stage IV: Medical Examination.
✔️ Stage V: Induction.
✅ ICG Assistant Commandant 2024 Examination Fee:
✔️ ₹ 300/- for General / OBC category candidates.
✔️ No fee for SC / ST category candidates.
✔️ The fee made through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ Maestro/ Rupay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.
✅ How to Apply ICG Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024:
➢ Applications will be accepted only Online Mode through Join Indian COast Guard Official Website (joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in) from 19th February 2024.
➢ The candidates will be required to upload photo-copies of Passport size recent colour photograph, scanned clear Left and Right Thumb impressions image, Date of Birth Certificate, Identity Proof, Qualification certificates and other required documents.
➢ The last date for registration of online applications is 06/03/2024 (Wednesday) up to 5:30 PM IST.
