ICG Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024-25 Notification expected to be release soon. The Indian Coast Guard (Ministry of Defence) invites online applications from dynamic Indian Male/ Female candidates for various branches as an Assistant Commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer). The Online Registration will be through Coast Guard recruitment website joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in. from 19th February and the last date for registration of online applications is 6th March 2024.

✅ ICG Assistant Commandant Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Assistant Commandant (General Duty) - Male: Degree from a recognized university with 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
✔️ Assistant Commandant (GD-P/N) – Male: Degree from a recognized university with 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
✔️ Assistant Commandant (Women-SSA) - Female: Degree from a recognized university with 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
✔️ Assistant Commandant (CPL-SSA) – Male/Female: Passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics with 55% aggregate marks in these subjects for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates. Diploma holders are also eligible with the same percentage criteria.
✔️ Assistant Commandant (Technical) – Male: Engineering degree in relevant fields with 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
✔️ Assistant Commandant (Law)– Male/Female: Law degree from a recognized university with 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
✅ ICG Assistant Commandant 2024 Selection Process:
The selection of ICG Assistant Commandants is based on an all India order of merit which is based on the performance of candidates in various stages:-
✔️ Stage I: Computer Based Online Screening Test (CGCAT).
✔️ Stage II: Preliminary Selection Board (PSB) – Candidate’s Verification, Documents Verification and Allotment of Centres.
✔️ Stage III: Final Selection Board (FSB).
✔️ Stage IV: Medical Examination.
✔️ Stage V: Induction.
✅ ICG Assistant Commandant 2024 Examination Fee:
✔️ ₹ 300/- for General / OBC category candidates.
✔️ No fee for SC / ST category candidates.
✔️ The fee made through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ Maestro/ Rupay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.
✅ How to Apply ICG Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024:
➢ Applications will be accepted only Online Mode through Join Indian COast Guard Official Website (joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in) from opening date of Online Registration.
➢ The candidates will be required to upload photo-copies of Passport size recent colour photograph, scanned clear Left and Right Thumb impressions image, Date of Birth Certificate, Identity Proof, Qualification certificates and other required documents.
➢ Apply on or before the closing date. The last date for online application registration will be updated soon.
