About Project: The Technical Education Quality Improvement Project (TEQIP III) is implemented by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India with focus on improving the quality of technical education in focus states of North-Eastern Region; Bihar; Chhattisgarh; Jharkhand; Madhya Pradesh; Odisha; Rajasthan; Uttar Pradesh; Himachal Pradesh; Jammu & Kashmir; Uttarakhand and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Professor (Engineering Disciplines) -> BE/ B.Tech and ME/ M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st class (60% or 6.75 grade point) either in bachelors or Masters degree from a recognized institution/ university and should have qualified through GATE exam.
Assistant Professor Mathematics -> MSc Mathematics with first class and should have cleared NET/SET or PhD as per UGC 2009 minimum standard & procedure.
Assistant Professor Physics -> MSc Physics with first class and should have cleared NET/SET or PhD as per UGC 2009 minimum standard & procedure.
Assistant Professor Chemistry -> MSc Chemistry with first class and should have cleared NET/SET or PhD as per UGC 2009 minimum standard & procedure.
Assistant Professor Geology/Applied Geology -> MSc/MSc Tech in Geology/Applied Geology/Engineering Geology with first class and should have cleared NET/SET or PhD as per UGC 2009 minimum standard & Procedure.

Application Fee: A Non-refundable ₹ 500/- to be paid as application processing fee through Online Mode (SB Collect) using Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card etc. The application fee can be made up to 20th November 2017 till 06:00 PM.
Selection Process: Personal Interview. The Interviews will be held tentatively between 11th December and 15th December 2017 at interview centres (20 NITs as per choice of the candidate)as per a schedule that will be intimated to the candidate through email. The shortlisted candidates would be invited for personal interview at the interview centre he/she has opted in the online application form. The candidates invited for interview at each Interview Centre, shall bring his original certificates in respect of educational qualification, date of birth, GATE score, relevant experience, Aadhar card, PAN card etc. Candidates coming without original certificates will not be permitted for appearing in the interview.

Educational Qualification and Experience:
Consultant (Administration) -> 02 year full time MBA / PG diploma in Personnel Management/ HR (AND) Minimum 10 years post qualification experience in the field of HR/administration/ establishment in Central Govt./State Government/ State or Central University/ Institutions of Higher Education, Autonomous Bodies of Central/ State Government, and Public Sector Undertaking.
Associate Consultant (Computer System) -> Full time BE/ BTech in Computer Science/ IT or full time MCA from recognized University/ institution. (AND) At least 03 years' post qualification experience in Managing the computer Centre, ERP/ MIS, Development of software and data management in Central Govt./ State Government, University/ Institutions of Higher Education, Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertaking.
Associate Consultant (Procurement) -> 02-year full time PGDM/ MBA from recognized University/ Institution (OR) B.E./ B. Tech. in Engineering/Technology from recognized University/ Institution along with Diploma in Materials Management/ Supply Chain Management (OR) ICWA/ CA/ CS (AND) Minimum 03 years' post qualification experience in procurement in Central Govt./State Government, University/ Institutions of Higher Education, Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertaking.
Nodal Officer/ Consultant (Academic/ Institutional Development Unit) -> Ph.D. in Engineering/ Technology with minimum experience of 05 years' in teaching/ research/ training/ planning in Central Govt./ State Government University/ Institutions of Higher Education, Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertaking (OR) Master's Degree in Engineering /Technology with minimum of 08 years' experience in teaching/ research/ training/ planning in Central Govt./State Government, University/Institutions of Higher Education, Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertaking.
