Educational Qualification & Experience:
Senior Scientific Officers Grade-II (Armament) -> Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent. Two years' practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance related to ammunition and weapon used by the Armed Forces.
Senior Scientific Officer Grade-II (Chemistry) -> Engineering Degree in Chemical Technology/M.sc (Analytical Chemistry)/ M.sc (Organic Chemistry) from a recognized University or equivalent. Two years' practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in the relevant field.
Scientific Officers Grade-II (Electronics) -> B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication Engineering OR M.Sc in Physics with specialization in Electronics from a recognized University or equivalent. Two years' practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in Electronic and Communication Equipment.
Senior Scientific Officers Grade-II (Engineering) -> B.E/B.Tech. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. Two years' practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in an Organization manufacturing Mechanical / Electrical/Automobile products.
Senior Scientific Officers Grade-II (Gentex) -> B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/ Metallurgical/ Textile Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. Conversant with Quality Management System/ Lab Accreditation System. Two years' practical experience in Production/ Development/ Quality Assurance in relevant field.
Senior Scientific Officer Grade-II (Instrumentation) -> Master Degree in Electronics/Applied Physics/Physics or B.E./ B.Tech in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics Technology from a recognized University or equivalent. Two years' practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in relevant field.
Senior Scientific Officers Grade-II (Metallurgy) -> B.E. (Metallurgy)/ B. Tech (Metallurgy) from a recognized University or equivalent. Two years' practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in Metallurgical field.
Senior Scientific Officers Grade-II (Military Explosives) -> B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Technology or Master's Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent. Two years' practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in the field of Military explosives.
Junior Scientific Officer (Electrical) -> Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable - Two years' experience in Quality assurance or Inspection or Production or Development in areas of discipline related to aircraft and its accessories.
Specialists Grade-III -> A recognized MBBS degree qualification; Post Graduate degree or diploma in the concerned speciality or Super-speciality i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Psychiatry / Surgery) or Doctor of Medicine (Psychological Medicine / General Surgery). Experience - Three years' experience in the concerned Specialty or super-specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree or five years experience after the Post graduate diploma.
Assistant Director Grade-I (Technical) -> Degree in Textile Manufacture /Textile Technology/Textile Engineering. Three years' experience of work connected with management/ running of Textile units of which one year should be in the Spinning and Weaving Department OR Three years' experience of work in a Government Department or a Semi Govt. Organisation with duties relating to development of Textile Industry including one year practical experience in spinning and Weaving department of Textile.
Senior Lecturers (Textiles) -> Degree in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering; Three years practical experience as a Lecturer in a textile weaving Institute or as a shift-in-charge/instructor in a textile production establishment or Corporation or Institute out of which at least one year should be in handlooms. (OR) Three years Diploma in Handloom Technology or three years Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology from a recognised University or Institute. five years practical experience as a Lecturer in a textile weaving Institute or as a Shift-in-charge/Instructor in a textile production establishment or Corporation or Institute out of which at least one year should have been in handlooms.
