Educational Qualifications: Full Time regular BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent degree recognized by AICTE or AMIE with 60% marks from Institution of Engineers (India) Calcutta in the discipline of Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering as notified vide O/o no. 1026/REG-321 dated 24.6.2014.

Important Notice: Prospective candidates are hereby informed that this recruitment process will not be based on GATE and shall be carried out by following a conventional process by conducting a written competitive examination as per the procedure being followed so-far. However as already clarified vide advertisement notice dated 16.7.2014 recruitment against vacancies to be advertised after 1.1.2015 will be done on the basis of GATE scores.

Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Engineer (On Training) -> Full time regular B.E'B.Tech/BSc. degrees in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent degree recognized by AICTE or AMIE with 60% marks from Institution of Engineers (India) Kolkata in required discipline.

Assistant Manager / IT Systems -> Full time regular BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Computer Science / IT with a minimum of 60% Marks or equivalent Degree recognized by AICTE (or) Full Time Regular MCA with atleast 60% Marks (or) Full Time Regular Masters Degree in IT with atleast 60% Marks.

Age Limit: 20 to 37 Years as on 1st January 2014.

Pay Scale: Rs.16650-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5800/-

Language -> Knowledge of Punjabi for all posts, the candidate must have passed Punjabi at least up to Matric / 10th Standard up to the last date of receipt of applications.

Selection Process: GATE Scores merit merit for future recruitment and is in the process of finalizing the modalities with the nodal agency for conducting GATE to fill up various vacancies to be advertised after 1.1.2015.
