West Bengal Accelerated Development of Minor Irrigation Project (WBADMIP) Government of West Bengal invites applications on the prescribed format from the eligible and interested candidates for recruitment of Sub-Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) for Agri-Mechanical wing for ADMIP, Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling District purely on contractual basis (for an initial period of one year). The last date for receipt of application is 14th July 2014.

Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any recognised institution, Desirable - One year experience in Government project work with knowledge in CADD and M.S office.
Selection Process: The selection procedure will be based on written test followed by interview. The written test will be held at the campus of the Jalpaiguri Polytechnic Institute, Jalpaiguri on 27.7.2014 (Sunday).The marks for written test is allotted as 80 and 20 respectively. Questions will be from Diploma level Mechanical Engineering syllabus (60 marks) and Basics of Electrical Engineering ( 20 marks).The successful candidates will be appointed under WBADMIP, Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling as per vacancy.
