Naval Ship Repair Yard Karwar Apprentice 2019-20: Naval Ship Repair Yard Karwar invites applications from ITI qualified Indian citizens (both Male/ Female) for Apprenticeship training at Dockyard Apprentices School, NSRY, Karwar under Apprentices Act, 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 for filling up 145 Vacancies for a period of 01 Year and 02 Years Training. The last date for submission of applications is 1st December 2019.

8th standard pass / desirable Fitter.

Age Limit: Candidates should have completed 14 years and below 21 years of age as on 01 Apr 2020. i.e. born between 01 Apr 1998 and 31 Mar 2005 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit of 21 years is reaxable for SC/ ST/ PwD's/ Ex-Servicemen/ Wards of Ex-servicemen and other notified categories as per Govt. rules in force.

Stipend: Minimum Stipend ₹ 9000/- per month a =s on 1st October 2019. The stipend will be paid in accordance with Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 11 of Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.

Educational Qualifications:

(1) Candidates scored above 50% marks in Matriculation or equivalent.
(2) Above 65% marks in the relevant ITI trade recognized by National / State Council for Vocational Training (NCVT / SCVT).
(3) Minimum education qualification for candidates who are to be enrolled for Rigger as 'Fresher' shall be 8th Std pass (desirable ITI (Fitter)).

Physical Standards: Physical standards should be in accordance with the Apprentices Act, 1961 and should be satisfying minimum standards as mentioned below:-

For Male: Height minimum - 150 cms, Weight minimum - 45 Kgs, Chest Expansion- 5 cms and Eye Sight 6/6 to 6/9 (6/9 corrected with glasses).
For Female: Height minimum - 137 cms, Weight minimum - 25.4 Kgs and Eye sight 6/6 to 6/9 (6/9 corrected with glasses).

Candidates should be medically fit and external/ Internal organs normal. Medical examination shall be conducted at Karwar for the qualified candidates.

Selection Process: Written Test and Interview. The Test / Interview is likely to be held in January / February 2019.

How to Apply: Eligible Interested candidates apply online through Government Apprenticeship Training Portal. On completion of online registration, the candidates are required to forward print out of “Apprentice Profile (My Profile)” along with required documents by speed / registered post to “The Officer-in-Charge, Dockyard Apprentice School, NSRY, NavalBase PO, Karwar, Karnataka – 581 308” latest by 01/12/2019.
