Educational Qualifications:
(a) Full-time 3 years Diploma / Full-time Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics / Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Engineering/Information Technology / Civil Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE or by a State board of Technical Education or University with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General Category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana domicile.
(b) Must have passed Hindi / Sanskrit up to Matric standard.
Age Limit: 18 to 42 Years. Relaxation as per Govt Rules. (as on 12/08/2015)
Pay Scale: ₹ 9300-34800+ Grade pay ₹ 3800/-
Selection Process: Written Test and Interview. The Test shall be of Objective Type of two hours duration in English medium only, consisting of two parts:-
a) Part-I consists of Professional Knowledge Test with 120 questions having specific questions of respective discipline.
b) Part-II consists of Aptitude Test 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, ability to determine data sufficiency, Interpretation of graphs/charts/tables; numerical ability etc. All questions carry equal marks. Wrong and multiple answers would result in negative marks of 1/4.
c) To qualify against unreserved vacancies, candidates have to score at least 50% marks in Written Test. For reserved vacancies, the qualifying criterion in Written Test is 45% marks.
d) The venue for the written test shall be at Chandigarh/Panchkula and Delhi.
Application Fee: ₹ 150/- for General (Male); ₹ 75/- for General (Female); ₹ 35/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBP(G) Category of Haryana only (Male); ₹ 18/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBP(G) Category of Haryana only (Female).

Age Limit (as on 19/08/2015): 20 - 42 years for Assistant Engineer posts; 18 – 42 Years for Upper Division Clerk.
Pay Scale: ₹ 9300-34800+5400/- Grade Pay for Assistant Engineer Posts; 5200-₹ 20200+2900/- Grade Pay for UDC.
Essential Qualifications:
Assistant Engineer ->
(a) Full-Time Bachelor Degree in required Engineering discipline or equivalent Degree from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General category & other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana domicile.
(b) Must have passed Hindi / Sanskrit up to matric standard.
UDC ->
(a) Full-Time Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications (BCA) with at least 60% marks in respect of General category & other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana Domicile, from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government. (OR) Full-Time MCA / M.Sc. (Information Technology) from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government.
(b) Must have passed Hindi / Sanskrit up to matric standard.
Selection Process: Written Test & Interview. The Written Test shall be held at Delhi and Chandigarh / Panchkula.
Scheme of Examination: The written test shall be of Objective Type (Each question shall have four multiple choice answer options) of two hours duration consisting of two parts:-
(a) Part - I consisting of Professional / Technical Knowledge Test with 120 questions having specific questions from your discipline.
(b) Part - II consists of Aptitude Test with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency, numerical ability etc.
All questions will carry equal marks. The provision for negative marking for wrong answers / multiple answers shall be informed to the candidates at the time of issuing admit cards.
Application Fee: The fees is to be paid through Bank Challan. Bank charges of ₹ 60/- shall be charged by SBI. Accordingly, the candidates will have to deposit prescribed application fees + bank charges of ₹60/- to SBI.
AE -> ₹ 1000/- for Male & ₹ 500/- for Female of General / Candidates belonging to states other than Haryana. ₹ 250/- for Male & ₹ 125/- for Female of SC/BC-A/BC-B/SBC/EBP(Gen) candidates of Haryana Domicile.
UDC (IT) -> ₹ 150/- for Male & ₹ 35/- for Female of General / Candidates belonging to states other than Haryana. ₹ 75/- for Male & ₹ 18/- for Female of SC/BC-A/BC-B/SBC/EBP(Gen) candidates of Haryana Domicile.
