✅ SSC JE Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification (as on 22.09.2026): Degree / Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline as prescribed by the user organization. Experience, wherever required (BRO, MES, DGQA-NAVAL, DGLL etc.), must be acquired after completion of the essential qualification. Internship / training during the course will not be counted.
- Scientific Assistant (IMD): Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics as one of the subjects; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / Electronics / ECE / IT / Instrumentation / Telecommunication / Communication Engineering from a recognised University / Institute.
- JE (Telecom – DoT): Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical / Electronics / Electrical Communications / Computer Science / Telecommunications / IT / Instrumentation from a recognised University or Institute.
- Age Limit (as on 01.08.2026): Posts with upper age 30 years: born not earlier than 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2008. Posts with upper age 32 years (CPWD / DGLL): born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2008.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD (UR/EWS) – 10 years, PwBD (OBC) – 13 years, PwBD (SC/ST) – 15 years, ESM – 3 years after deduction of military service from actual age.
✅ SSC JE Salary 2026:
- Pay Scale: Level-6 of 7th CPC – ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted).
- In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will get DA, HRA, Transport Allowance and other benefits as applicable to Central Government employees. Posts carry All India Service Liability.
