✅ SBI Junior Associate Backlog Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification (as on 31.12.2026): Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) must have passed on or before 31.12.2026. Final year/semester students may apply provisionally and must produce proof of passing by 31.12.2026. Matriculate Ex-servicemen with Indian Army Special Certificate of Education (or equivalent) after 15 years of service (dated on/before 31.12.2026) are also eligible.
- Local Language Proficiency: Candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State/UT must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the specified/opted local language of that State/UT. Candidates who have studied the opted local language in 10th or 12th standard are exempt from LLPT.
- Age Limit (as on 01.04.2026): Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years (A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1998 and not later than 01.04.2006 – both dates inclusive).
- Age Relaxation: OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PwBD (OBC) – 13 years, PwBD (SC/ST) – 15 years, Widows/Divorced/Judicially separated women (not remarried) – 7 years, Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen – as per rules, Trained Apprentices of SBI – additional relaxation as applicable.

- Pay Scale: ₹24,050 – 1,340/3 – 28,070 – 1,650/3 – 33,020 – 2,000/4 – 41,020 – 2,340/7 – 57,400 – 4,400/1 – 61,800 – 2,680/1 – 64,480
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹26,730/- (₹24,050 + two advance increments for graduates).
- In-hand salary of an SBI Junior Associate (Clerk) is approximately ₹46,000 per month at Metro centres like Mumbai (inclusive of DA, other allowances). Allowances vary as per posting location. Additional benefits include PF, NPS, Medical facilities, LFC and other perquisites.
