✅ MECL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Executive Trainee (Electrical): Minimum 60% marks in B.Tech./B.E. in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent (UGC & AICTE approved/recognized). ODL degrees not permissible.
- Executive Trainee (Mechanical): Minimum 60% marks in B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (UGC & AICTE approved/recognized). ODL degrees not permissible.
- Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have cleared the Written Round of the UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024 (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering), appeared for the UPSC ESE 2024 Interview, but were not recommended for final selection by UPSC, and have consented to sharing of marks information on UPSC’s website.
- Experience: Nil (Freshers only).
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years for Unreserved (UR) candidates as on 01 August 2026. Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India / MECL rules.
✅ MECL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 Selection Process:
- Shortlisting of candidates based on UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024 Score (out of 1200) in Mechanical / Electrical discipline (category-wise).
- Document Verification of shortlisted candidates.
- If documents are found suitable, offers of employment will be issued.
- No separate written examination and no personal interview will be conducted by MECL.
- Only UPSC ESE 2024 score will be used for recruitment.
✅ MECL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 Remuneration:
- During one-year training period: Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000/- per month in the pay scale of Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000/- (E-1 IDA) + applicable Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA).
- Other benefits: HRA, Allowances (cafeteria approach), PF, NPS, Performance Related Pay, Group Medical Insurance, Superannuation Scheme, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Term Insurance, Vehicle Loan, and House Building Advance as per company rules.
