✅ Income Tax Pune Sports Quota 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Stenographer Grade-II: 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
- Tax Assistant: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent qualification
- Multi-Tasking Staff: Matriculation or Equivalent pass
- Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026):
- Stenographer Grade-II & Tax Assistant: 18 to 27 years
- Multi-Tasking Staff: 18 to 25 years
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation up to a maximum of 5 years (10 years in case of SC/ST candidates) for meritorious sportspersons as per Government of India instructions.
- Sports Eligibility: Candidates must be meritorious sportspersons in the listed games/sports and will be considered as per the order of preference prescribed by DoPT.
✅ Order of Preference for Selection:
- First Preference: Represented the country in an International Competition (with clearance of Department of Sports)
- Second Preference: Represented a State/UT in Senior or Junior National Championships / National Games and won medals/positions up to 3rd place (Senior preferred over Junior)
- Third Preference: Represented a University in Inter-University competition / Khelo India University Games and won medals/positions up to 3rd place
- Fourth Preference: Represented a State/UT in Khelo India Youth Games (above 18 years) / Winter Games / Para Games and won medals/positions up to 3rd place
- Fifth Preference: Represented State Schools in National sports/games for Schools and won medals/positions up to 3rd place
- Sixth Preference: Represented State/UT/University/State Schools teams at levels (B) to (E) but could not win a medal/position (in the same order)
