✅ AAI Northern Region Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate / Diploma: Full-time (Regular) Four years Degree or Three years (Regular) Diploma in Engineering in the relevant stream, recognized by AICTE, GOI. ITI Trade: ITI / NCVT certificate in the relevant trade from an Institution recognized by AICTE, GOI.
- Passing Year: Candidates who have passed Degree / Diploma / ITI in 2024 or after 2024 are eligible.
- Domicile: Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
- Age Limit (as on 16.09.2026): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 26 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD etc. as per Government of India guidelines.
✅ AAI Northern Region Apprentice Stipend 2026:
- Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: ₹15,000 per month (AAI Share ₹8,850 + Govt. Share ₹6,150 through DBT)
- Technical (Diploma) Apprentices: ₹12,000 per month (AAI Share ₹6,550 + Govt. Share ₹5,450 through DBT)
- Trade (ITI) Apprentices: ₹9,600 per month
Duration of Training: 1 Year. During the apprenticeship period, candidates will be governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended) and AAI policies/rules.
✅ AAI Northern Region Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process:
- Provisional selection based on percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- In case of equal percentage, Date of Birth and thereafter Date of Passing will be considered for seniority.
- CGPA will be converted into percentage as per the norms of the concerned Board/University.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification / Interview through registered email IDs only.
Final Selection: Candidature is provisional. Selected candidates will undergo document verification at the establishment office.
