Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Central Railway (NCR), Prayagraj has released the Act Apprentice Recruitment Notification 2026-27 for engagement of 1,853 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligible ITI passed candidates can apply online for apprenticeship training in various divisions and workshops of North Central Railway.

On 14th August 2026, The NCR RRC Prayagraj has released Addendum notification for Inclusion of Engineering Trade Slots of (JHS, PRYJ, AGC) units. Total Vacancies 1853 increased to 3205 Apprentice trade posts. The last date for online registration has been also extended up to 31st August 2026. Educational Qualification:

  • Passed 10th Class (Matriculation/SSC) or equivalent under the 10+2 system with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board.
  • Possess an ITI / National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India.
  • Valid NCVT/SCVT affiliated ITI Certificate in the relevant trade is mandatory.
  • Domicile shall be as per RRC/NCR notification.

Age Limit (As on 07.07.2026):

  • Minimum Age: 15 Years
  • Maximum Age: 24 Years
  • SC/ST: 05 Years relaxation.
  • OBC: 03 Years relaxation.
  • PwBD: 10 Years relaxation.
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules.

Selection Process:

  • Merit List based on average percentage of 10th & ITI Marks.
  • Document Verification.
  • Medical Examination.
  • No Written Examination and No Interview.
