Eligible candidates must apply offline. The application steps are as follows:-
- Step 1: Download the application form from the DRDO website www.drdo.gov.in (under What’s New section).
- Step 2: Fill the application form carefully and attach self-attested xerox copies of all relevant documents (educational certificates, caste certificate if applicable, etc.).
- Step 3: Register yourself on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal https://nats.education.gov.in before applying (mandatory).
- Step 4: Send the duly filled application form along with documents by Post or by Hand to Director, Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC), Metcalfe House, Civil Lines, Delhi – 110054.
- Step 5: Superscribe the envelope clearly with “Application for the post of Apprentice in [Discipline Name]”. Ensure the application reaches within 21 days from the date of advertisement (latest by 01 July 2026).
