✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit:
JSA: Not exceeding 28 years;
JST: Not exceeding 27 years as on 17/06/2025.
Relaxations: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC (NCL): 3 years, PwBD: 10 years.
✔️ Educational Qualifications:
Junior Secretariat Assistant (General, Finance & Accounts, Stores & Purchase):
(1) 10+2/XII or equivalent.
(2) Proficiency in computer typing (English: 35 wpm, Hindi: 30 wpm) as per DoPT norms.
(3) Desirable: Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Junior Stenographer (English/Hindi):
(1) 10+2/XII or equivalent.
(2) Proficiency in stenography (80 wpm in English/Hindi) as per DoPT norms.
(3) Desirable: Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Junior Secretariat Assistant:
- Competitive Written Exam: Paper-I (Mental Ability Test, 100 questions, 200 marks, 90 min, qualifying); Paper-II (General Awareness & English, 100 questions, 300 marks, 1 hr, negative marking: 1 mark per wrong answer).
- Typing Test (Qualifying): 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi) on computer, 10 min.
- Merit based on Paper-II for typing test qualifiers.
✔️ Junior Stenographer:
- Competitive Written Exam: Single paper (General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, English & Comprehension, 150 questions, 150 marks, 2 hrs, negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer).
- Stenography Test (Qualifying): 80 wpm (English/Hindi), 10 min dictation, transcription time (English: 50 min, Hindi: 65 min; extended for PwBD).
- Merit based on written exam for stenography test qualifiers.

✔️ ₹ 100/- for UR/OBC candidates.
✔️ No fee for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ ESM/ Women/ CSIR regular employees.

➢ Eligible candidates must apply online through the CSIR-4PI official website from 28/05/2025 (08:30 hrs) to 17/06/2025 (17:00 hrs).
➢ Register with name, email, and password; log in to fill the application form.
➢ Upload: Recent passport-size photo, signature, self-attested certificates (10th, 12th, degree, marksheets, category, experience, NOC if applicable).
➢ Pay the application fee online; fee is non-refundable.
➢ Govt. /PSU candidates must send a hard copy of the application to “The Director, CSIR-4PI, NAL Belur Campus, Wind Tunnel Road, Bengaluru-560037” within 20 days of the closing date.
➢ Submit only one application per post; latest application considered if multiple.
