✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Nationality: Indian citizens only.
✔️ Age Limit (as on 01.06.2025): Trainee Engineer-I: 28 years, Project Engineer-I: 32 years. Relaxations: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC-NCL: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years (additional to category relaxation). Proof: SSC/ISC marks card or valid DOB document.
✔️ Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) with Pass Class in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, or Communication & Telecommunication from a recognized University/ Institution.
✔️ Experience (as on 01.06.2025):
Trainee Engineer-I: No experience required.
Project Engineer-I: Minimum 2 years relevant post-qualification industrial experience. Teaching/research, internships, or pre-qualification work not considered. Experience certificates with employment period and post held mandatory.
✅ Remuneration & Benefits:
✔️ Trainee Engineer-I: Rs. 30,000/month (1st year), Rs. 35,000 (2nd year), Rs. 40,000 (3rd year, if extended). Tenure: 2 years, extendable by 1 year (max 3 years).
✔️ Project Engineer-I: Rs. 40,000/month (1st year), Rs. 45,000 (2nd year), Rs. 50,000 (3rd year), Rs. 55,000 (4th year, if extended). Tenure: 3 years, extendable by 1 year (max 4 years). Retention Bonus: Rs. 1,00,000 after 4 years.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Trainee Engineer-I: Written Test (100 marks, 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer). Qualifying marks: General/EWS/OBC-NCL: 35%, SC/ST/PwBD: 30%. Selection based on merit (category/discipline-wise).
✔️ Project Engineer-I: Written Test (same as above) followed by Interview for shortlisted candidates. Venue: Kotdwara Unit.
✔️ Results published on BEL website. No re-checking of answer sheets.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ Trainee Engineer-I: Rs. 177/- (Rs. 150 + 18% GST) for General/OBC/EWS.
✔️ Project Engineer-I: Rs. 472/- (Rs. 400 + 18% GST) for General/OBC/EWS.
✔️ No fee for SC/ST/PwBD.
