✅ Age Limit (as on 08.05.2025):
18 – 27 years for all categories.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwBD (UR), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), and as per GoI rules for Ex-Servicemen.
✅ Educational Qualifications:
✔️ Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Production, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation/Telecom, Computer Science/Computer Engg./Information Science & Technology, Metallurgy/Material Science, or Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. Passed in 2021–2025.
✔️ Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): B.Com, B.Sc (Chemistry/Physics/Maths/Electronics/Computer), B.A (Finance/Banking), BCA, or BBA from a recognized University/Institute. Passed in 2021–2025.
✔️ Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Tool & Die Design, Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation, or Computer Science/Computer Networking from a recognized Board/Institute. Passed in 2021–2025.
✔️ ITI Apprentice: ITI certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in Machinist, Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, or Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) from a recognized Institute. Passed in 2021–2025.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Shortlisting based on Academic Merit (percentage/CGPA in qualifying exam).
✔️ Document Verification for shortlisted candidates.
✔️ No written test or interview; selection subject to verification of original documents.
✔️ Shortlisted candidates list published on www.drdo.gov.in by 23.05.2025 (tentative).
✔️ No TA/DA provided for document verification or joining.

➢ Apply online through nats.education.gov.in (for Graduate/Diploma) or www.apprenticeshipindia.org (for ITI) by 08.05.2025.
➢ Alternatively, download the offline application form and send it with scanned copies of documents via email to hrd.gtre@gov.in or by post to: The Director, Gas Turbine Research Establishment, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Post Box No. 9302, CV Raman Nagar, Bengaluru - 560093.
➢ Register on NATS/NCVT portal and provide registration number in the application.
➢ Upload/ attach self-attested copies of: 10th/12th mark sheets, B.E./B.Tech./Diploma/ITI/Degree mark sheets (all semesters), Degree/Provisional Degree certificate, caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), PwBD certificate, Aadhaar card, NATS/NCVT registration certificate, police verification certificate, medical fitness certificate (from Government Hospital, not ESIC), bank account details (Aadhaar-seeded), two passport-size photographs.
➢ Mention marks in percentage (convert CGPA as per university norms).
➢ Retain a copy of the application printout for reference. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
➢ Bring original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies during joining.
