TNMAWS Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

✔️ Age Limit: Maximum 32 years for General. No Maximum Age limit for Reserved Categories.

✔️ Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Engineer (Corporation/GCC): Requires a B.E. degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical): Should have a degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) from a university or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. A degree in Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering from Anna University is also considered equivalent.

Assistant Engineer (Municipality/TP): Needs a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from any recognized University or Institution.

Assistant Engineer (Civil): Requires a degree in Civil Engineering from a University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. Preference given to those with a Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Engineering.

Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): Needs a degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. Preference given to those with a Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Engineering.

Assistant Engineer (Electrical): Must possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or Institution. Preference given to those with a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a pass in Section A & B of the A.M.I.E Examination.

Assistant Engineer (Planning) (Corporation/GCC): Must have a degree in Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent qualification. Preference given to those with a Master's Degree in Planning.

Town Planning Officer Grade II / Assistant Engineer (Planning) (Municipality): Requires a degree in Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent qualification. Preference given to those with a Master's Degree in Planning.

Junior Engineer (TWAD Board): Requires a licentiate in Civil Engineering, licentiate in Sanitary Engineering Diploma, or D.C.E. awarded by the State Board of Technical Examination and Training, Madras, or any equivalent Diploma recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Technical Assistant (Corporation/GCC): Must possess a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, or its equivalent.

Draughtsman (Corporation/GCC): Should have a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, or its equivalent.

Draughtsman (Municipality): Requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Overseer (Municipality/TP): Should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Town Planning Inspector / Junior Engineer (Planning) (Municipality/TP): Requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering or a Degree in Planning or Diploma in Architecture from any institution. Preference given to those with a Post Graduate Diploma in Town Planning.

Work Inspector (Municipality/TP): Should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an institute approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Sanitary Inspector (Corporation/GCC & Municipality): Requires a B.Sc degree in Zoology allied with Chemistry, Chemistry allied with Zoology, or B.Sc degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, Microbiology, or Bio-Chemistry. Must have completed the Sanitary Inspector course from an institution approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

TNMAWS Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:

Written Examination (Objective Type) (450 Marks)

Personal Interview (60 Marks)
