Age Limit: 18 to 30 years for General candidates; No age limit for reserved category (SCs, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes).
Eligibility: Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil Language.
Educational Qualification and Experience:
| Drugs Inspector –> | A Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharmaceutical Science or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology. |
| Junior Analyst –> | (1) A Degree in Pharmacy or A Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Degree in Chemistry. (2) Experience in the analysis of drugs for a period of not less than one year in the case of persons possessing a degree in Pharmacy or a Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry as a special subject and for a period of not less than two years in the case of persons possessing a degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry. |
Application Fee: ₹ 150/- One time registration fee (05 years Validity). For Examination Fee - ₹ 200/- for Drugs Inspector post, ₹ 150/- for Junior Analyst post and ₹ 200/- for Drugs Inspector and Junior Analyst posts.
Selection Process: Written Examination (Objective type - OMR Method) and Oral Test. The exam consist of two papers: Paper I (Subject) and Paper II (General Studies).
