Food Corporation of India (FCI), Kolkata Region (West Bengal State) invites online applications for direct recruitment for the post of Watchman for positioning in its Depots and Offices under West Bengal Region (State of West Bengal and Sikkim). Educational Qualification: Middle Standard Pass (VII Standard) (Max – Matric). Candidates who are appearing at the qualifying exam or their proof of passing /result is not declared by 01.08.2017 are Not eligible for applying the post.
Selection Process: Written Test and Physical Endurance Test (PET). The written test held will be Trilingual (i.e. Hindi, English & Bengali Language) in the offline mode. The said test will be of 2 hours and shall have 120 Objective type questions in General Knowledge, Reasoning and Basic Mathematics.All 120 Multiple Choice Questions will carry equal 01 mark. No negative mark for wrong answer. The PET which is qualifying in nature will be held based on the result of written examination.
Physical Endurance Test ->
For male Candidates:
(1) Running - 800m in 3 minutes in One Go
(2) Long Jump - 3.00 meter (in 3 attempts)
(3) High jump - 1.00 meter (in 3 attempts)
For female Candidates:
(1) Running - 600m in 3 minutes in One Go
(2) Long Jump – 2.50 meter (in 3 attempts)
(3) High Jump - 1.00 meter (in 3 attempts)
Application Fee: For General and OBC Category Candidates are required to pay application fee of ₹ 300/- (Excluding Bank Charges). The fee should be made through Online Payment Mode or Prescribed Bank Challan. SC/ ST/ PWD and female Candidates/ Ex-serviceman are exempted from the Application Fee. The last date for making the payment of Application Fee through Internet Banking/ Debit/ Credit Cards/ E-Challan is 20th September 2017.
