TNTET Notification 2025 Out: Application Form, Exam Dates, Direct Link. The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Government of Tamil Nadu, has issued examination notification for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 for selection TN Govt School Teacher Vacancies in Class I to V and Class VI to VIII. Eligible candidates from Tamil Nadu can apply online for Paper-I and Paper-II until 5:00 PM on 08th September 2025. This test qualifies candidates for teaching positions in classes I to VIII.

  • Higher Secondary or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Higher Secondary or equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE Regulations, 2002.
  • Higher Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • Higher Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Paper-II (For Classes VI-VIII):

  • Graduation and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Graduation with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
  • Graduation with 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year of B.Ed. as per NCTE Regulations.
  • Higher Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
  • Higher Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.A./B.Sc. Ed. or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.
  • Graduation with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
