The Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), Ordnance Factory Recruitment Centre (OFRC), Nagpur has recently published short advertisement of OFB Apprentice Recruitment 2020 for engagement of 56th batch of Trade Apprentices under the ‘Apprentices Act 1961’ in Indian Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories located in different states across India. Recently, the OFB updated total vacancy details: The number of vacancies is approximately 6060 including 3847 ITI and 2219 Non-ITI, as part of OFB’s Skill India Mission. Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and Maximum 24 years as on last date of submission of online application. The upper age relaxation - 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC and plus 10 years for Physically Handicapped (PH) / Physically Challenged (PC) or Differently Abled Candidates.

Educational Qualification:
For Non-ITI Category: Candidates should have passed Madhyamik / Matriculation / 10th class (Class X standard or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and with 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each.
For ITI Category: Passed relevant ITI trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/ Ministry of Labour and Employment with duration as per the Apprentice Act 1961 plus passed Madhyamik / Class X standard or equivalent (Minimum 50% aggregate marks both in Matriculate & ITI).
Selection Process: The Selection will be done on the basis of merit list. The merit list will be prepared separately for NON-ITI and EX-ITI category.
Application Fee: A non refundable fee of ₹ 100/- only. The fee payment can be made by using Internet Banking /debit card / credit card / Cash Card, Wallets/IMPS/NEFT/UPI, BHIM, by providing information as asked on the screen.
How to Apply: Eligible Indian citizens must apply online through OFB application portal (ofrcta56.com) from 10th January 2020. The closing date of submission of online application is 09/02/2020 up to 11:59 PM Midnight.
