Minimum Qualification and Experience:
Scientist 'B' -> M.Sc. (Post Graduate) or recognized equivalent qualification with a first division in Geology/ Earth Sciences or Botany/ Biosciences/ Life Sciences or an allied discipline with 3 years research experience in a palaeoscience discipline. (OR) Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
Scientist 'C' -> Post Graduate M.Sc. or recognized equivalent qualification with a first division in Geology/ Earth Sciences or Botany/ Biosciences/ Life Sciences or an allied discipline with 7 years research experience in a relevant palaeoscience discipline. (OR) Ph.D. with 4 years post-doctoral research experience in relevant discipline.
Selection Process: Test and / or Interview
Application Fee: A Non-Refundable fee of ₹ 100/- for General and OBC Category Candidates; No fee for SC/ST/PH candidates. The fee application fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD) in favour of the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences, Lucknow drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at Lucknow.
