Educational Qualification and Experience:
Scientist 'F' ->
(1) Essential - Doctorate degree in Natural/ Agricultural/ Engineering/ Medical Sciences or Nanoscience/ Technology. In the case of medical professionals, the minimum qualification could be an M.D. or equivalent as approved by MCI.
(2) Desirable - At-least 06 years postdoctoral/ professional experience after PhD. High quality publications. Patents filed / granted. PhD students guided.
(3) Experience - (i) Experience of twelve years in Research and Development in Scientific, Industrial and Academic Institutions. (ii) Should have experience as Head of Department / Centre or Coordinator of major research projects in any branch of science / technology, preferably in the area of scanning probe-microscopy / experimental physics at nanoscale / nano-photonics / tissue engineering / Biopolymers/ biomedical devices.
Scientist 'E' ->
(1) Essential - Doctorate degree in Natural/ Agricultural/ Engineering/ Medical Sciences or Nanoscience/Technology. In the case of medical professionals, the minimum qualification could be an M.D. or equivalent as approved by MCI.
(2) Desirable - At-least four years postdoctoral/ professional experience after PhD. High quality publications. Patents filed / granted. PhD students guided.
(3) Experience - (i) Experience of ten years in Research and Development in Scientific, Industrial and Academic Institutions. (ii) Experience of evolving, managing and directing research projects under relevant branch of science/ technology, preferably in the area of scanning probe-microscopy / experimental physics at nanoscale / nano - photonics / tissue engineering / biopolymers/ biomedical devices. (iii) Have contributed to research/ teaching as evidenced by published work/ innovation and impact.
Application Fee: ₹ 500/- (non-refundable) shall be submitted by each candidate in the shape of RTGS/NEFT or by Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favor of Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali (payable either at Mohali or at Chandigarh) along with application in the prescribed form.

(2) Desirable - At-least 04 years postdoctoral/ professional experience after PhD, high quality publications, Patents filed / granted, PhD students guided.
(3) Experience of 10 years in Research and Development in Scientific, Industrial and Academic Institution.
