Ordnance Factory Itarsi (OFI), a unit of Munitions India Limited under the Ministry of Defence, invites offline applications from ITI / NAC qualified candidates for 135 tenure-based Chemical Process Worker (CPW) posts on a contract basis. The recruitment targets Ex-Apprentices of AOCP trade with Ordnance Factory training or candidates with NAC in AOCP from government-affiliated institutions. The engagement is initially for one year, extendable up to four years based on factory needs and performance. The closing date for submission of applications is 2nd June 2025.

✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit (as on 30/05/2025):
UR: 18-40 years; OBC-NCL: 43 years; SC/ST: 45 years; Ex-Servicemen: Military service period + 3 years. PWD candidates are not eligible.
✔️ Educational Qualifications:
(1) National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Attendant Operator Chemical Plant (AOCP) trade from NCVT/NCVET.
(2) Ex-Apprentices of AOCP trade from Ordnance Factories or government-affiliated Govt./Private organizations.
(3) Experience in manufacturing/handling military explosives and ammunition preferred.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Merit based on NAC marks (80% weightage) and Trade Test/Practical Test (20% weightage, 100 marks).
✔️ Cut-off for Trade Test set by OFI based on NAC marks.
✔️ Document Verification for candidates qualifying NAC and Trade Test, limited to the number of posts (Category-wise).
✔️ Additional candidates called if initial candidates fail verification, until posts are filled.
✔️ Tie resolution: Preference to OFI Ex-Apprentices, other Ordnance Factory Ex-Apprentices, higher NAC marks, older candidates.
