Age Limit: 28 Years (as on 01/01/2016). The upper age limit relaxation is, up to 5 years in respect of SC/ST and up to 3 years in respect of OBC (Non-creamy layer) category candidates.

Pay Scale: ₹ 16,400 - 40,500/- (IDA)

Essential Educational Qualifications:

Mechanical Engineering	B.E. /B. Tech.in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering stream with 60% marks or equivalent.
Petroleum Engineering	B.E. /B. Tech.in / Petroleum Engineering /Petroleum Technology /Applied Petroleum Engineering / Applied Petroleum Technology / or any other relevant engineering stream with 60% marks or equivalent.

Selection Process: Based on GATE 2016. Shortlisted Candidates will be called for PERSONAL INTERVIEW. The Candidates, if shortlisted for personal interview, are required to bring their original GATE- 2016 score card at the time of personal interview. The Engineering Graduates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2016) for GATE-2016 paper as per detailed given below:

Registration Fee: ₹ 100/- for General and OBC candidates. The fee can be made only through Prescribed Bank Challan (Download from official website, link provided in the below table) for Punjab National Bank or State Bank of India. No fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-Serviceman candidates.
