North Western Railway (NWR), Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Jaipur Recruitment of sports persons against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) on North Western Railway for the year 2018-19. Minimum Educational Qualification :
Norms for Group' C recruitment: {05 Vacancies in Pay Level 4/5 (As per 6th PC PB-I , ₹ 5200-20200 with GP ₹ 2,400/2,800)} -> Graduate or its equivalent by a recognized university.
Norms for Group ' C recruitment {1 6 Vacancies in Pay Level 2/3 (As per 6th PC PB-I ,₹ 5200-20200 with GP ₹ 1,900/2,000) -> Matric with 12 stage) or its equivalent by a recognized board of education.
Eligibility (Sports Achievements):
05 Vacancies in Pay Level 4/5 ->
(a) Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Senior category) OR
(b) Obtained at least 3rd position by representing the Country in the World Cup (Junior/Senior)/ World Championships (Junior/Senior) /Asian Games (Senior)/ Commonwealth Games (Senior), except Gold Medal in Asian Games.
16 Vacancies in Pay Level 2/3 ->
(a) Represented the Country in the World Cup (Junior/ Senior), World Championships (Junior/Senior), Asian Games (Senior) & Commonwealth Games (Senior) OR
(b) Represented the country and obtained at least 3rd position in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior) / Asian Championship/Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior) / South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior), USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior category) OR
(c) Represented a State or equivalent unit and obtained at least 3rd Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships OR
(d) Represented a State and obtained at least 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association OR
(e) Represented a University and obtained at least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities OR
(f) Obtained 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (senior category).
Recruitment Procedure:
Selection will be conducted by North Western Railway, Headquarter, Jaipur. Selection of candidates will be based on their achievements in relevant sports, educational qualification, general intelligence, personality, game skills, physical fitness and observations of coach & trial committee during trial. All eligible candidates will be called for Trial and after Trial only the FIT candidates will be called for Interview.
Examination Fee: ₹ 500/- for General and OBC Candidates; ₹ 250/- for SC/ ST/ Women/ Minorities and Economic Backward Classes Candidates. The DD/ IPO should be drawn in favour of "North Western Railway Sports Association", payable at Jaipur/ G.P.O. Jaipur.
How to Apply: The application should be sent by ordinary post only in a closed envelope or dropped in the application box provided for the purpose in the addressed to SENIOR PERSONNEL OFFICER(RP), RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELL, NORTH WESTERN RAILWAY, POWER HOUSE ROAD, OPPOSITE DRM OFFICE, JAIPUR-302006 on or before 20/08/2018 up to 17.00 Hrs. On the top of the envelope "APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2018-19" should be super scribed.
