Age Limit: 30 Years for Assistant Director Posts; 35 Years for Scientist 'B'. Age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates upto 5 years and upto 3 years for OBC candidates.
Scale of Pay:
Assistant Director -> Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs. 4,600 (Grade Pay)
Scientist 'B' -> Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 5,400 (Grade Pay)
Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Director -> BE/B.Tech. in Concerned Engineering Discipline from a recognized University or passed Associate Membership Examination Part I and Part II of the Institution of Engineers (India) in required disciplines of Engineering or Technology. Desirable - Minimum One Year Experience.
Scientist 'B' -> Post Graduate in Physics from a recognized University or Institute. At least three years' research experience in Physics.
Selection Process: The category-wise minimum level of suitability in INTERVIEWS, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by Interview, will be UR-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PH-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
Application Fee: Rs.25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash (OR) Online Mode by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC / ST, PwD and all women candidates.
